What the Day Can Include

Fitting all of these into one day is not realistic without rushing. Most guests pick the Causeway plus two nearby stops, and we plan the timing around that.

• The site is exposed and coastal, so layers and proper shoes matter more than the forecast suggests.
• The walk from the visitor centre down to the columns is roughly 1 km each way; a shuttle bus runs for anyone who would rather not walk it.
• Early starts avoid the heaviest crowds, particularly between June and August.

Can we stop at Carrick-a-Rede and Dunluce Castle too?
Yes, both are close to the Causeway and work well in the same day. Carrick-a-Rede uses timed tickets, so it is worth booking before you travel.
